The beauty industry is growing and growing each year. With so many fad products and un-researched facial treatments around, it’s hard to know what is a gimmick and what is the genuine real deal. The market is awash with many different facials, from LED analysis to remedies enriched with gold. For me personally, I want a holistic and non-invasive facial. Something that provides long term results and not just a quick-fix.
My skin has always been plagued with spots and, at times, acne. I have oily skin, which has helped me avoid scaring over the years.I do still have some old war wounds and now a smattering of fine lines and pigmentation from my years in the sun.
I have always been interested in different types of facials and have been fortunate enough to have tried many in Ibiza and around the world. Microdermabrasion is a firm favourite, but I have found in the past that specific brand facials are definitely not for me. Some treatments may feel relaxing at the time, but afterwards I just feel as though my skin has been coated again and again with products. By the time a toner, a serum, a lotion, a potion and all of the rest of it has been applied, you can just feel a little bogged down. That’s why I was so interested in The Cell Station in Ibiza, a system that helps your skin heal itself.
It was explained to me by the beautiful Dietra, that it is a holistic system for recharging the skin naturally, using the Zytoenergese machine. Your cells are energised by wands that give an impulse to the cells. This reactivates their own regenerative power with healing frequencies. I knew the body can heal itself but I wanted to give it a helping hand.
So I booked in a session to try this unique facial treatment…
The whole process with The Cell Station was very relaxing. The setting in the private casita in the north of Ibiza was just amazing. Just heading up to the location of the treatment room is relaxing. I was surrounded by beautiful nature and the sound of the birds singing. The views of the countryside are like a big breath of fresh air and you can even catch a glimpse of the sparkling sea.
Dietra made me feel completely at ease as she chatted to me about the treatment over a cold drink. She explained to me that The Cell Station speaks the language of my very own cells and will assist with long lasting balance. A cool jelly was applied to the skin on my face to help the wands glide over my skin without any friction or pull to the epidermis. She uses the wands over the skin, in the direction of the fibres of the muscles. This feels extremely relaxing, and I found myself dropping into a state of true tranquillity. I could feel what I would describe as small electrical pulses and a transfer of energy. The treatment lasted for an hour, working around the different areas and muscles of my face.
After the facial treatment I felt energised as soon as I opened my eyes. My skin looked fresher, for sure, and felt tighter and firm. I felt revived, rested, and the appearance of the skin around my eyes was telling me the same thing! I’m sure with regular treatments, my residual acne scars would be reduced dramatically as I could already see the skin was brighter in general.
It’s so great to have tried a facial treatment in Ibiza like this. These healing frequencies have no unwanted side effects or down time, such as redness or sun sensitivity. This is a unique treatment that is not only working on beauty and vitality but also works for pain relief, health and even hair regrown and radiance.
